8/7/09 Rochester, NY

In what's hopefully becoming an annual tradition, Donna the Buffalo recently returned to Rochester, NY in early August for a free outdoor show. The gig took place on Friday, 8/7/09, at the Rochester Public Market, and two of DonnaFans.com's steadiest contributors share their photos of this event. Greg Cotterill, who most recently shared his photos of DtB from this year's Trumansburg, NY GrassRoots festival, generously provides us with 9 photos of the band playing on 8/7/09 in Rochester, NY, while Karen Landau shares 6 photos from this show. The band played this gig the night after the special New York City cruise show (see below), and were easily able to duplicate that energy at the Rochester concert. Thanks for the photos, guys!

Rockin' The River In New York City

8/6/09 New York, NY

Donna the Buffalo recently returned to New York City to perform a gig that combined the band's music with unbelievable views of the City skyline that can be seen only by boat. The Rockin' The River Cruise set sail from the Circle Line Pier 83 at 42nd St. and 12th Ave. for a voyage to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge, and more. DtB upped the ante by having their friends Craig Aspen and Cyd Frazzini of the Believers join them for several songs, including Silverlined and a cover of Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side. DonnaFans.com contributor John Bahlinger shares with us 9 photos of DtB playing on 8/6/09 in New York, NY. "Awesome show, awesome sights and fun for all," John said. "I took 11 friends who had never seen Donna and they were amazed. DtB was at their best." Thanks for the photos, John! (posted 8/10/09)
