Tara Nevins & Friends Mini-Tour Starts 12/5!

In early December, Donna the Buffalo's Tara Nevins will embark on a four-show tour that will stop in select cities in the Southeast: Wed., 12/5, in Atlanta, GA (Smith’s Olde Bar), Thur., 12/6, in Charlotte, NC (The Double Door Inn), Fri., 12/7, in Asheville, NC (The Grey Eagle), and Sat., 12/8, in Huntsville, AL (Kaffeeklatsch). Joining her for these very special gigs will be friends Riley Baugus (banjo), Mike Compton (mandolin), Pete Finney (pedal steel and electric guitar), David Grier (acoustic guitar), Todd Phillips (bass), Amber-Dawn Rische (harmony vocals and fiddle), and DtB drummer Mark Raudabaugh. Tara will be performing songs from her latest solo release, Wood and Stone, which hit in the Top 20 on the Americana Music Chart in 2011. New Photos: 11/10/12 Tractor Tavern, Seattle, WA

In mid-November, Donna the Buffalo wrapped up their extensive swing through the western United States with a return to a venue they'd played before: the Tractor Tavern in Seattle, WA, where they last set the groove in November 2008. contributor Bob Hagen was at this show and generously shares with us 8 excellent photos of DtB performing on 11/10/12 in Seattle, WA, including the band sharing a number with supporting act The Brothers Comatose. Great Videos From 11/3/12 San Francisco, CA!

In late October, much to the delight of fans in the western part of the United States, Donna the Buffalo embarked on a tour that included stops in several states that have been clamoring to see the band, including Texas, New Mexico, California, Oregon, and Washington. Andrew "Ziggy" Zweigbaum attended some of these shows, and kindly shares with us a sweet 10-minute-plus video of DtB performing Conscious Evolution at Slim's in San Francisco, CA on 11/3/12.
