5/18/12 Richmond, VA Show Is Already Available For Download

Thanks to Capnhook and John Bischman, a recording of Donna the Buffalo's show last Friday, 5/18/12, at Kingdom in Richmond, VA is already available for you to download from the Live Music Archive at http://archive.org/details/donna2012-05-18. The band was on fire pretty much right out of the gate for this show, following up a Way Back When opener and Beauty Within with a sweet, stretched-out version of Voice in My Head that set the tone for the rest of the evening. The rest of the set contained plenty of pleasant surprises, including Do It for Love, I Love My Tribe, Lifetime of a Fool, Big Parade, Let Love Move Me, and a version of There Must Be performed by Tara and Jeb as a duet. Thanks so much, guys, for taping and quickly uploading this show! (posted 5/21/12)

Four Fine Gigs To Finish Off May

Donna the Buffalo has a run of shows coming up that guarantees to make the rest of May a stellar month to be a DtB fan, especially those of you in or near Virginia. The fun begins on Thursday, 5/17, when the band returns to Edinboro, PA for the Edinboro Art & Music Festival, a fest they've played each year since 2009. From there, it's south for a pair of shows in Virginia: Friday, 5/18 at Kingdom in Richmond and Saturday, 5/19 at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville. The following Friday, 5/25, DtB will be in Greenfield, MA for the Strangecreek Campout. Tickets for all of these shows are still available from the respective venues. See you there!
