New Photos: Water Street Music Hall, Rochester, NY 11/18/11

Water Street Music Hall has long been a favorite venue of Donna the Buffalo—the band has played there almost every year since 1996, and frequently has made two visits a year. So it was no surprise that the turnout and enthusiasm were especially high when DtB recently returned on a mid-November night. Mark "DaBabe" Roth traveled to this gig, and kindly shares with us 12 photos of DtB playing on 11/18/11 in Rochester, NY. On this night, the band's performance included If You Only Could, Revelation Two-Step, Hot Tamale Baby, Wood and Stone, In Another World, and Each and Every Direction, with an encore of Biggie K is a Superstar, Co Fa (Tell Me Why), and All Aboard. This show was webcast live (audio and video) by the Vest Bros. and company on http://Herd.tv so fans across the country could join in the fun. Thanks so much for the photos, Mark, and thanks to the entire webcasting team, who also covered the next night's show in Syracuse!

This Weekend's DtB Shows In Rochester And Syracuse Will Be Webcast!

Thanks to the Vest Bros, Herd.tv, and the usual crew of suspects, Donna the Buffalo's shows on Friday, 11/18/11 at the Waterstreet Music Hall in Rochester, NY (start time approximately 8:30 pm eastern time) and Saturday, 11/19/11 at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse, NY (start time approximately 8 pm eastern time) will be webcast live as they happen. Driftwood is the opening act. "Our best guess is that at least one of the shows (most likely both) will be high resolution," Rand said. "As always, the audio track will be at least 64kbs (and maybe higher). The audio will be a matrix and the video will most likely be multi-camera." For more information, and to view these webcasts, visit http://Herd.tv and click on the webcasting link. (posted 11/17/11)

Photos, Video, And Audio From MagFest 10/22/11 - 10/23/11

In late October, Donna the Buffalo headed down to a very familiar venue in Florida for a weekend's worth of good times with good friends. Phil Ross was among the attendees, and generously shares with us 12 photos of DtB playing on 10/22/11 and 10/23/11 at Magnolia Festival in Live Oak, FL. Phil's images include shots of the band playing their own sets as well as with Jim Lauderdale, plus a terrific shot of drummer Mark Raudabaugh. Also documenting the festivities was Mark "DaBabe" Roth, who posted videos of several songs from the 10/22 set, including 40 Days & 40 Nights, We're Working On That, Blue Sky, and All Aboard on his YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/dababe44. And Tim Wright has already uploaded his recording of DtB's 10/22/11 show to the Live Music Archive; you can grab it from www.archive.org/details/donna2011-10-22.tw.akg461mod.flac16. Thanks so much, guys!
