On Sunday, 6/12/11, Donna the Buffalo performed at the Syracuse Big Splash! at the Inner Harbor in Syracuse, NY. The concert was held to raise awareness about a controversial form of drilling for natural gas called hydraulic fracturing. The event featured a full day of music on two stages; also on the bill were Sophistafunk, Ayurveda, Hee Haw Nightmare, Driftwood, and several other bands. "Then Tara came out for the last song of Levon's set with him, Larry, Amy Helm, Teresa, the 5-piece horn section, and the baby grand. She sang The Weight and it was fantastic! It was an amazing event. Team Levon really went out of their way to make everyone there feel welcome and comfortable.
