Just Added: Photos From Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival!

As he likely does every April, in 2011 Larry Franklin wandered down to North Carolina to take in the musical celebration that those who love it call Spring Shakori. Larry took time out of his fun to document the event in pixels, and kindly provides us with 13 photos of Donna the Buffalo from the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival in Silk Hope, NC on 4/21/11 through 4/24/11. Larry's photos captured all of this festival's greatest moments, including DtB keyboardist David McCracken's set with friends in the dance tent on Friday, 4/22 (left). "Spring Shakori was just awesome. Everything we've come to love that place for. And more," Larry said. "The new-to-us bands were duly impressive, and the bands we knew furthur impressed us with their fine, fine sounds. Kudos to the bands, staff, volunteers, and soundmen who do such a wonderful job bringing us their best. Thank you, Donna The Buffalo!" Thank you, Larry! (posted 5/9/11)
