The first two shows of the tour by Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann's trio, BK3, featuring Tara Nevins as a special guest, are available for download via bittorrent. New Photos: 5/14/09 Edinboro, PA

Edinboro, PA 5/14/09

It was a Thursday evening when Donna the Buffalo headed into Edinboro, PA to perform as part of the Edinboro Arts & Music Festival. The venue was indoors at the Culbertson Hills Golf Course, which Madtaper described as "small, crowded, & hot...perfect." The band laid down an enthusiastic set that included many pleasant surprises, such as the Hit the Groove opener, Tara's new zydeco tune, a mid-set Let Love Move Me that was followed by the rarely heard Tara gem I'll Be Gone, Story of the Ages, an "over the top" version of Blue Sky, another performance of the Sheryl Crow song A Change Will Do You Good, and more. The trifecta of an encore consisted of Standing Room Only, during which the band needed lyrical assistance from the fans; Big Parade; and a super-hot Hot Tamale Baby. DonnaFans.com friend Larry Franklin was at this show, and generously shares with us 12 photos of DtB performing in Edinboro, PA on 5/14/09. Thanks, Larry!

First Photos From 4/25/09, St. Petersburg, FL

Jannus Landing, St. Petersburg, FL 4/25/09

One week after Shakori Hills GrassRoots, after a quick stop at Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC, Donna the Buffalo returned to one of the band's favorite Florida venues, Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg. The band's performance included the new Jeb song It's Love Time, The Mill, Each & Every Direction, and No Place Like The Right Time. For the encore, first Jeb and Tara came out and did an extremely spirited version of In Another World as a duet; you can see a video of this on Ziggy's YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/aziggy63. Then the rest of the band joined them for Revolution to end the night. Robert Chrismer, who is the person responsible for the excellent Have You Herd Radio, attended this show, and provides us with 12 photos of DtB performing on 4/25/09 in St. Petersburg, FL. Thanks, Robert! (posted 5/2/09)
